The Yellowknife Chamber Choir presents a concert of fine choral
inspired by the mystique and allure of the heavens, reflecting our
fascination with the skies above us, starting from the time of
Copernicus and moving forward. The methodical, relentless, wondrous
drift of stars and planets have inspired thinkers, explorers, and
artists for millennia. Featuring a set of hymns written in the
planetal mode (a scale based on the trajectories of the planets), a
stunning slideshow of celestial images, and the inspired musings of
Astronomy North's James Pugsley, this is a special concert not to be
missed.
